A while back I went into my old dormant myspace account to cancel it and I saw your friend request. I looked and looked and had no idea who you were because I remembered the high school Jennifer B. who always had a pony tail and no makeup. And on your blog, your wedding photo (very fab by the way) and other photos show a put together woman with a stylish short do. You look great. And I do now have you on my favorites and stop by from time to time meaning to leave a hello note. So Voila here I am. And I so appreciated the coffee coupon last week by the way. Yummy. But as to today's topic, oh, yeah, AMEN. In my skinniest times (about 5 years ago) I actually wore a size 2 dress to a wedding but in my heart I knew they had been generous in the sizing and that I was actually a size 6. Every other article of clothing in my closet didn't dare go any smaller than a 6. But had you dared to ask me, after all my struggle for weight control (I feel as you, that I have always battled average to chunky size)what size I was I might have said something like "I fit into a size two". Yeah, all about accentuating the positive. Happy blogging.Jennyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01178225907455093962noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3445996267425456610.post-45227736132876911632008-10-23T18:25:00.000-06:002008-10-23T18:25:00.000-06:00Preach it, sister! I was finally making my purchase after a bitter disappointment about a certain dress I wanted to buy. The x-small technically fit me, but it was way too tight. The medium was too big and there were no smalls to be had - they even called all the stores in the city for me! So, I sadly said good-bye to the dress and was paying for a pair of shorts. A lady came in, who was very tall and at least two sizes bigger than me. She was an attractive, fit looking woman, but no where near my size. She grabbed that x-small dress that the store clerk had laid aside and immediately went to pay for it. The girl asked her "Don't you want to try it on?" She said, "Oh no, it'll be just fine!" I was already disappointed that it was too small for ME, so I was snickering to myself, "Yeah right, lady! Don't kid yourself!" Maybe I just need to find out where she's shopping so I can go down a couple of sizes, too -- forget dieting, just shop somewhere else!!Kellyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06821668001575446321noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3445996267425456610.post-79533357409095636682008-10-22T13:53:00.000-06:002008-10-22T13:53:00.000-06:00AMEN!!!!(Oh and for the record...
