Welcome to this week's edition of Aloha Friday.
In Hawaii, Aloha Friday is the day they take it easy and look forward to the weekend. So on Fridays at Wade's World I take it easy on posting, too. Therefore, I'll ask a simple question for you to answer - nothing that requires a lengthy response!
In the states, this is the beginning of Memorial Day weekend. We celebrate and remember those who have lost their lives for the freedom and protection that we hold dear as Americans. In the Army, we refer to this weekend as a 4 day (4 days in a row off). We have 2 swim parties and a picnic to attend over the weekend. We'll be busy, but I'm looking forward to getting to try out some new recipes for each of the events.

How will you be celebrating or spending your Memorial Day weekend?

You're lucky you get a 4-day. We only got a 2-day, and then Patrick took off Monday. I know, strange--but thats his unit. Anyway, we're going camping up past Riodoso for the whole weekend--so we won't be at church! Have a good one!
Hubby has duty this weekend (military) so most lkely nothing this year.
It's a bank holiday weekend here in the UK as well, but I'm working for all of it!
We will probably be going to an amusement park. We bought season passes this year.
Just brought hubby home from the hospital today after knee replacement surgery. So the weekend is gonna be a quiet one.
I am late but we went to my parents lake house for the weekend and had perfect weather but Monday I worked :)
