24 hours and counting...

Thought I would add this picture since not many have seen us all dressed up for the OCS formal last month. This is my size 18 dress and for some reason to me and my local friends the thought of wearing a size 18 was absolutely hilarious one night. Hopefully I never have to pull this one back out, but I guess I better keep it in case I'm ever 8 1/2 months pregnant and need to go to another formal. Better hit South Beach big time because I know I've got one to go to in July! Shopping for that dress should be more fun - and probably more expensive since the only part of this outfit I paid for was the undergarments and a couple of pieces of jewelry - Thanks Mom!!
We're 24 hours from checking into the hospital to start our whole inducing labor process. I'm excited and apprehensive and just ready to "git r dun." I can't believe that I really have about a week left before I'm actually due. I think I've asked Jake every day what I would do if I were waiting this one out to go into labor on my own. In case you're wondering, I'm being induced so that Jake can be here for the birth. He leaves again next week to go to Fort Sill for more training. Hopefully by Friday I'll have pictures of Maverick to post.
We think we're turning a corner with Bailey and eating out! PTL!!! Since about August, I have dreaded taking him to a restaurant because he's impossible to please and his tolerance of sitting at a table has lasted about 2 minutes. In the past month, with the help of chicken nuggets and fries from whatever fast food restaurant is on the way, we've managed to have several enjoyable eating out experiences with him. So to any of my friends who are experiencing this eating out hurdle - This too shall pass!
Unless something blogworthy happens tomorrow, I'll be back when I'm officially the mother of 2!

I think I may be right there with you on that South Beach thing --- I'm going to be matron of honor in my childhood best friend's wedding in July --- pudgy and not pregnant is just not so cute! And who came up with the title of Matron? I much prefer best woman! See you and new baby, too --- soon!
