What I want for my birthday

If you really want to buy me a great gift, I'd love to have one of these. My birthday isn't until May so if you start saving now, you could probably put a down payment at least or find some financing plan where you pay no interest until 2020 or something crazy like that. I really do need a table!

My
mom and brother both have blogs now. My brother's is just full of links to things, like the above mentioned table. My mom's first entry was about her toilet seat cover. If you know anything about my mom, there's always a redecorating project going on at her house. She's the queen of wallpaper! She helped us wallpaper our bathroom at our old condo before we sold it and we were finished in a couple of hours. If you ever need a quick wallpaper job done, she's the woman to call! I honestly would be fine to never see another piece of wallpaper in my life! She does all sorts of other odds and end projects, too.

My landlord called me today to inform me that a potential renter is coming Sunday to look at our place to rent after we're out. This is a huge praise and eases my mind. They've been really wonderful about letting me out of my lease early to move to El Paso. The Lord provided this place for us in a bit of miraculous way. It's been just what we've needed for this little interim period in our lives. He was in the Reserves or National Guard when he was young and has a son in law in the Coast Guard so he's been very understanding about our military situation. Knowing someone is coming to look at this place means I need to get my rear in gear and get everything presentable by Sunday afternoon. I've taken some boxes out of the attic the past couple of days that I need to return. I took another load of stuff to Goodwill today so I'm making progress.

I'm currently waiting for Jake to call me. He called and left a message this afternoon and said someone lost a weapon this week so all of Fort Sill was on lock down until they find the weapon. Not sure what weapon it is, but I also don't know how you misplace a weapon! I'm sure I'll get the full, aggravating story. This experience at Fort Sill has been a glaring illustration of how the actions of one person effect everybody else involved in the situation.
There he is...

We know that if I have money I don't buy tables - see my Les Paul for example!

But, if I had that much money, I would probably buy one of these.
