Maverick is turning into a BIG boy! Here he was yesterday afternoon all dressed up for a night on the town. He couldn't figure out what those things on his feet were and by the time we got to where we were going, he only had 1 on! He was cute, though. Around these parts, western Texas, Maverick is quite the novelty. I assume because people here don't see many fair skinned, blonde headed babies, everyone wants to look at him and touch him. It's like they're mesmerized by him. Someone told us last night there's some sort of hispanic superstition related to fair skinned babies. I've done some searching and can't come up with any facts to support that. We should enter him in some baby contests around here and maybe he'd win just because he's so different. I don't have the energy for that stuff! Besides, I'm too cheap to buy him Strasburg outfits to parade about in. We'll just keep thinking he's the most beautiful caucasion baby alive, like all mothers do!By the way, he's sitting in my new chair in those pictures.
Gotta get back to the Roloffs and the new episode of Real Deal. A typical Saturday night with the Wade's.

Maverick is such a sweet baby. I loved kissing on him and having him giggle. He looks bigger already in this picture and I was just there a week ago!!
