Busy, Busy, Busy

Since Friday, I'm not sure that life has slowed down all that much!

LT showed up Friday afternoon and 'ruined' all of my cleaning plans while my friend had the boys. Instead, we got to enjoy a few hours of together time and even ended the evening with an apple dumpling from Cracker Barrel.

Saturday we loaded the children up and headed for the mall for a few hours. Bailey got a haircut and then I got to go get the first of my 2 new Vera's. This one will serve as Jenna Beth's diaper bag. I'm too indecisive on what I want for a purse!

Sunday it was church time, grocery store time since I knew there wouldn't be another opportunity until Friday and Super Bowl Party time.

Yesterday I had a doctor's appointment. Thankfully LT had been given the day off work so he got to go with me. It was a second ultrasound so it was fun to see that we really are having a girl. I can be more confident buying pink stuff now! Then we enjoyed lunch and I had to go to work. As soon as I got home from work, we changed clothes and went for our annual speaking engagement at one of the local FCA groups. It was a great night as usual, but I didn't get to bed until after 11 since I had to drive our babysitter back to the westside.

Today, I should be straightening the house since the babysitter will be here in about 2 hours. We are going to a babyshower/dinner for one of the guys that LT works with and his wife. Their baby is due in the next couple of weeks. We had almost decided we weren't going to make it to this shindig, but we are the ones who bought the joint gifts so we felt like we 'deserved' to go. Our babysitter situation worked out at the last minute, too.

I'm still alive and kicking. I'm looking forward to having some time tomorrow to fold clothes, relax and do a little more in depth cleaning than has been done around here lately! If I get brave, I'll take the boys with me to drop off some stuff at our local consignment shop. Kids clothes = cash!
