2 weeks ago today, on May 12, we welcomed Miss Jenna Beth into our world!
I went into real labor at about 1:30 am in the morning. After about 45 minutes of making sure I was really having regular contractions, I woke up my mom and told her it was time to go. I also had to call my neighbor to come and sit with the boys until another friend could come and get them. We got to the hospital between 2:30 am and 3:00 am. The midwife checked to make sure I was at the point where it was worthwhile to admit me to the hospital. Since I was only 1 centimeter away from admittance eligible a week earlier, I knew we weren't going to be sent home. At about 4:30 am, I was given a 'saddle block' for the pain. It was a good thing for about an hour and a half, but wore off right as it was getting to be time to have a baby!
At 6:17 am, Jenna Elisabeth Wade arrived in this cold world weighing 9lbs 9oz, 21.5 inches long with a head full of dark hair.
Here she is today wearing the outfit that I wore home from the hospital 33 years ago to the day! My mom has been saving this outfit for this very moment, I think!

Welcome lil' JB, yay Jen, and you go Grammy!!!
I love that she is wearing your outfit! So glad you are blogging, I have been checking everyday for an update! Even though I have been lucky enough to see beautiful Jenna Beth in person, I am happy to see her pictures up here too. Hope you and your boys are getting settled in, please remember I am just a phone call away if you need anything!
Congratulations!! She is so adorable!!! And I love the name too. Although, I may be a bit partial to her middle name - Grace's middle name is Elizabeth!
Congratulations!!! She is absolutely beautiful!! I have been checking your blog every day waiting for an announcement and some pics (you know, because you don't have anything else to do!) I miss you and I hope I get a chance to meet her some day!

Beautiful. May the Lord bless her and keep her. May He cause His face to shine on her and be gracious to her. May the Lord turn his face to her and give her peace. Amen!
