On the calendar...

It's official! We are scheduled to be induced on Thursday January 11th. Maverick's birthday will be 1/11/07. How bout that?? I'm so excited I don't know what to do - except think of all the things I need to do like clean out a place to put a new baby and all of his paraphernalia! I guess I'll start taking down the tree tomorrow and other Christmas stuff and start going through the boxes in the attic that might contain items Maverick might need in his first few months of life. The closet and drawers are overflowing already. My mom has said on several occasions that I need not buy any clothes for the boys for a long time. I find the fact that she made this comment and then turned around and bought Maverick 3 outfits for Christmas slightly humorous. She's got more of a baby clothes buying problem than I do! Sorry Mom :o)
We decided this afternoon in the car that we're tired of living in small places. Not that we want a mansion in El Paso or want to overextend our budget, but we've got a lot of stuff and anyone who has spent any time with me knows that I have a problem with being a pack rat. Today I was even contemplating some sort of system for keeping all of Bailey's art projects from Sunday School and Mother's Morning Out. I guess I should just keep the BEST ones. So space and safety are going to be our primary goals in finding a place to live when we get to TX in the spring. That makes me think of a quote from the great Steve Canfield "Junk expands to the space allotted." So maybe I don't need more space, just less junk! I'm starting to get convicted about my junk so I better hush.

I guess since Jake is home, I take it I'm no longer needed for the big day?! ;) Awwww, and here I thought I was going to spend some quality time with you telling you to PUSH!

Welllll, I'll save the time and come when you need an extra set of hands and a good night's sleep.

Your big day awaits, Baby Maverick!

Okay --- seriously - keeping Sunday School and MMO art projects? I am coming to your place to throw things out! But, before I do that and you hate me -- try buying an accordian file - that usually has 26 slots for the letters of the alphabet - then you have slots for 26 years of Bailey's art projects and when the slot for one year is full --- you stop saving them! love ya gal! I mean you put up so well with all my quirkiness!
