Here's a picture of the sweet little patient in his bed with his oxygen and IV. He's really been a trooper. The only thing that really upsets him is getting his nose sucked with the infamous bulb syringe!
The Dr. came in this afternoon and said that Maverick didn't look like he was getting any worse, which was a good thing. He is calling his current condition bronchitis. We'll be staying in the hospital at least one more night, maybe two, depending on how Maverick responds to not having the oxygen feed. He has to be off of that for 24 hours before the Dr. will release him. When I left the hospital they hadn't made any adjustment to the oxygen so I'm thinking we'll be coming home on Saturday. He had a little bit of a temperature today, but it was back down to 99.3 the last time they checked. He is eating well and has gained almost a pound from when we checked into the hospital yesterday.
Thank you all for your prayers, your phone calls and your visits.
