Everyone who knows Bailey knows he and Snoopy are inseparable. Yesterday Snoopy had to take the back seat to Bailey's new friend, Mack. His GG and Paw Wade sent Mack to him yesterday and the two have been attached at the hip ever since. Mack is his favorite character from the movie Cars. I may have mentioned this before, but I think the Mack Truck company has prevented Disney or any other toy maker from making Mack toys, except for this one truck. I've looked everywhere and this is the only one I could find and I was too cheap to buy it for him. Bad mommy!
When I opened the box they had mailed and found Mack, Bailey was too interested in playing outside to come in and see Mack. Once he decided to come inside and see his new Mack, he hasn't let Mack out of his sight. He took Mack outside and played with him in the drive way. Mack got to ride in the back of the tonka dump truck Bailey pushes around the house. He took Mack with him in the car last night when we ventured to McDonald's for an ice cream. Bailey fell asleep and when we got home wouldn't let me take Mack out of his hands to undo his seat belt. As it was getting close to bed time, I went into Bailey's room and asked him where Mack was and he had to pull the covers down on his bed to reveal Mack tucked in safe and secure. Mack got to sleep in the bed all night, too. This morning Bailey came to my room with Mack in his hands and said "MACK!" about 10 times before I finally quieted him down.
I asked Jake last night if he thought Snoopy felt like Woody does in Toy Story when Buzz Lightyear arrived on the scene. Jake thinks Snoopy is glad to get a break from the abuse! Bailey has both, Snoopy and Mack, in the living room this morning so Snoopy's not so left out after all!
