In an earlier post, I mentioned the little girl at Chick Fil A that said that Bailey smelled like 'doo doo.' For some reason, fast food play areas seem to have a certain effect on Bailey - the 'doo doo' effect. The last time we went to Chick Fil A, following the 'doo doo' announcement, guess what - Bailey had a stinky diaper that had to be changed at Chick Fil A. Now, the past 2 times we've gone to Carl's Jr we've had absolute DOO DOO BLOWOUTS!!! It's been disgusting. We think the culprit to the blowouts is the 2 molars that he has coming in on his bottom gum. However, when it happens in public, it's quite humiliating! Anyone who knows me knows that I announced very boldly before Bailey was born that he would always have clothes on, even when just hanging at home. I'm not big on letting my children just wear a diaper. So you can imagine the humbling that happens when Bailey's shorts are disgustingly filthy from his blowouts and I have to let him run through Carl's Jr with his shirt and a diaper on! So now, I've had this experience 2X!!! It was even cuter today when he was walking out carrying my large drink with his shirt, diaper and cute tennis shoes on. We did overhear a little girl mention the 'stinky boy' as Bailey was coming down the stairs of the play thing toward her. Poor little guy! He's got a reputation already!!

Jen, I can relate to the no clothes thing. But, for me if it happens it happens. I've been trying to put extra outfits in the diaper bag, to avoid the lack of clothes. We started potty training this summer, the girls are doing well with it, but the times I forget the diaper bag, I pray like heck- Lord, please don't let them have an accident. There was one time I was over a friend's house & one of the girls had not 1 accident on her carpet, but 2. I had the bag, but for some silly reason had forgotten to put extra underwear in. Thankfully she has little girls & we borrowed a couple of pairs of underwear. Ah, the joys of blowouts! Yuck! -Gail
Hey, there's hope for him - I refer to chris as the stinky boy for good reason - his true love will get past the smell...=)
Jen, I remember you talking about that in the apartment at good ole NGC/NGU. Ya know I think a lot of children go through a phase like this.
