One of the squabbles I deal with on a daily basis, sometimes hourly, is a fight over sippy cups. I always give both of the boys their own sippy cup to prevent this squabble, but it does absolutely no good. Maverick thinks he has the right to take over any sippy cup within his reach. My personal opinion is that he begins his pursuit of the cup that doesn't belong to him just to quench his thirst. Once he realizes that getting the cup is turning into a power struggle, he just gets mean and mad. Yesterday I documented this process on film.
Picture Evidence #1: The successful capture of green sippy cup containing chocolate milk belonging to Big Brother. Can you see the look of sheer pleasure of a successful capture on this cute little blondie's face? His belly is definitely happy.
Picture Evidence #2: Said green sippy cup has been reclaimed by Big Brother, owner of sippy cup and its contents. The thief shows his complete disgust with this turn of events and is inconsolable. Within seconds, I'm sure he throws himself backward, slinging his precious blonde head onto the ground.
Picture Evidence #3: Rightful owner enjoying the contents of his green sippy cup after recapturing it from the blonde thief. Little does he know that in the midst of the inconsolable tantrum, the blonde thief is already devising another hostile take over of green sippy cup and its contents.
Stay tuned for more adventures of Blonde Thief and his Victim.

I love it! We have our own power struggles, too, though not over sippy cups, just usually everything else...all at the hands of the "slobbery monster" - who by the way is cutting all four one year old molars at once.
Hee, hee! We have a blonde thief at our house and he seems to have the exact same MO. Hmm...sounds like a crime wave to me!
I love how the pictures contrast from pure happiness to pure anger. The boys look great!!
