Aloha Friday #4

Welcome to this week’s edition of Aloha Friday.

In Hawaii, Aloha Friday is the day that we take it easy and look forward to the weekend. So I thought that on Fridays I would take it easy on posting, too. Therefore, I’ll ask a simple question for you to answer. Nothing that requires a lengthy response.

As many of you know, I've embarked on the coupon clipping Grocery Game attempt to save some cash on groceries. I'm having to come up with some creative ways to get the good coupons each week because our paper doesn't always get the best coupons. I'm actually going to subscribe to the Austin American Statesman for a while to see if their coupons are any better.

So here's today's question:

Do you clip coupons? If you do, where do you seem to find the best coupons and if you subscribe to a newspaper, which newspaper have you found has the best coupons?

I find my coupons in the circular in our Sunday paper.

Waco Trib. There's nomally like 2 or 3 coupon things. They are normally ones for things that we buy, but they rarely get used because we forget about them. What kind are you looking for by the way?

The best coupons are on-line. Direct from manufacturers sites

I'm definitely a coupon clipper. Locally, the LA Times Sunday edition seems to have the best coupons, the other papers don't have as many.

Here we can get coupons from ACS (or the Air Force version of it). They have boxes and bins full of coupons to sort through. Once I got one of the large flat rate priority mail boxes FULL of coupons (about 6 gallon size zip-locks!) And the coupons are good 6 months past the expiration date!!!
