Welcome to this week’s edition of Aloha Friday.
In Hawaii, Aloha Friday is the day that we take it easy and look forward to the weekend. So I thought that on Fridays I would take it easy on posting, too. Therefore, I’ll ask a simple question for you to answer. Nothing that requires a lengthy response.
As many of you know, I've finally moved into the DVR age. I've DVRed a few things, but not a ton.
So my Aloha Friday question is....
What do you DVR regularly?
So far I have a couple of movies, a few episodes of Days of our Lives and a couple episodes of the new show, Castle.

we have tivo. actually we have 2 tivos. a HD dual-tuner one. and the old one. so we can (and frequentely do) tivo 3 different shows at a time
American Idol, Grey's Anatomy, Private Practice, House, Monk...DVR is probably my favorite invention ever...
We DVR Grays Anatomy, and Private Practice...I love those shows! And the biggest loser and in the summer my boys, and Army Wives.
My husband thinks I love the drama...I guess I do kinda. :)
Our DVR hold 300 hours and at any given time we, sadly, have 20 hours or less as we are filled up with episodes of Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, Little Einsteins, Word World, and whatever Disney movies I am able to record. My kids love watching the same things over and over, and it much faster to watch a DVR'd program then to find the DVD, the DVD remote, etc. For me I like the West Wing, House Hunters, The Ellen DeGeneres show and Barefoot Contessa. We watch way too much TV in this house!
Law & Order: SVU, CSI, Nip/Tuck (b/c it came on so late), Tabitha's Salon Takeover, Clean House, ER (what few episodes remain) Intervention, Criminal Minds, Platinum Weddings, Sober House. We use ours so often!!! I find myself trying to press 'fast forward' when I am watching live television. I am so spoiled in having the ability to watch a 30 minute program in under 20, and an hour show in 35 minutes, give or take.
You don't have a blog big enough for me to list my DVR recordings. LOL
My favorites are Damages, The Biggest Loser, Top Chef & Project Runway (when they are on)... gosh I could go on and on and on.
Now I am feeling really left out. As I read your post I was not sure what DVR was. (still not totally sure) I know what TIVO is, but have never used it.
I just watch my shows on the internet. We don't get tv signal in our neighborhood and we don't have the cable or digital signal costs in our budget. So I wireless internet my TV.
Granted I only watch 24- I like Jack Bauer, because my mom's mom was a Bauer and I am still trying to find out if we are related! I like that kind of show.
I am afraid if I had TV coming into my home I would get glued to it. I love The History and Discovery Channels. HGTV works for me too.
Ooooooops! I am off on tangents, I guess I can't really answer your question, because I don't have a DVR system. Sorry!
