Birthday Videos

These are some brief videos I took while we celebrated Bailey's birthday on Sunday.

This first is me giving him his Tractor Tippin Set. His reaction was great, I thought! He even smiles for a still picture at the end. You'll hear him say "cheese."



This second one was Maverick's way of eating his cupcake. I thought it was an interesting approach and even kept his shirt from getting destroyed! I was worried about that because these were brand new shirts being worn for the first time.

Mommy Where Are You?

A couple of weeks ago, we were just hanging out at the house when I heard Maverick say over and over again "Mommy where are you?" When I went to find him, I saw his head peaking through the protective railing upstairs. He had pulled a rocking chair and a big stuffed horse out of his bedroom to stand on so that he could look over. He's the reason they they had to come back and install this Brady Bunch looking railing in all of these houses! Bailey later joined in on the fun. We've had to put an end to this fun adventure because they have left big red marks on the wall from the rocking chair and the fact that one of them is likely to fall off of their prop and injure themselves.

Mavvy Loves Pizza

Here's a little video of Maverick anxiously awaiting his pizza dinner! Figure the grandparents will enjoy seeing his fat butt in action.

Rough Housing

Our rough housing days have begun. I'm anxiously awaiting lots of broken objects from the antics of these two crazy boys and their daddy.

Benny Wade's Hee Haw

Many of you will recognize the men in this video, but even if you don't, grown men in tights and tootoos dancing to Chariots of Fire is still funny! Benny Wade's Hee Haw was an event hosted to benefit our friend and "almost nearly not quite hardly" extended family member, Stephanie Bellenger who is raising funds for a much needed kidney transplant. There's another story about she and her brother and sister here.

For those of you who don't know our family, my father in law, Benny, is the last ballerina to make his grand entrance onto the stage. Enjoy!

Mr. Mav is working on his walking skills, but he's still way too lazy to walk on his own. He only gets to push this when he can wrestle it away from his bully big brother!

We played a few games of Scrabble while we were in Waco. Bailey decided he wanted to help me win by giving me his magnetic letters. Isn't he thoughtful?

Bailey finally gets to keep Mack! Notice his 'train' of new toys on the coffee table. Many of the toys he's lining up actually are Maverick's.

Here's the excitement of discovery! I unwrapped these stickers and put them on the table and didn't show them to Bailey. When he found them for hisself, it was sheer delight.
